We left the cold, cold campground where 14 degrees felt much colder with the wind rolling over the frozen lakes. But mot before Søren, Pearl, and I froze our extremeties on a 2.5 mile walk. As we travelled South, the warm sun found us and so we stopped at the Emmaus Wildlands Conservancy where eranthis, croci, and snowdrops flourished! What good dortune is bestowed upon us. Next we had ice cream from a farm — shivering and licking by snow piles.
